For the first time Magnus Lindstrom and Bob Prati are delighted to announce a joint venture producing two stunning WWI items for the collector.

Working with RP World Models, Tradition of London are releasing two new WWI products. This brings together both the popular Tradition’s WWI infantry and the detailed all metal Steadfast tanks in the form of British and French tanks with Infantry.

The first will be the Steadfast French Renault FT17 tank with six Tradition of London French infantry figures.

The second is the Steadfast Male Mother tank with 8 Tradition of London British infantry.

RENAULT FT 17 LIGHT TANK

Revolutionary would be perhaps the best description to afford the French Renault FT 17 tank. Initially seeing action towards the end of WW1, this light tank was the first to have armament within a rotating turret and an engine located at the rear.

The crew were situated at the front of the tank entering through a forward hatch. These light tanks were made in their thousands and this pioneering blueprint was to set the basic configuration for all future tank design.

Tradition is proud to present our version of this light tank supported by the French Infantry of the time.
